ICD Directors' Dilemma & Luncheon with Paul Haggis, Activist Director
In partnership with the Institute of Corporate Directors, Gardiner Centre and the St. John's Board of Trade will host a morning session entitled, Directors' Dilemma: A Culture of Bullying and Intimidation - the Board's Role followed by a luncheon with Paul Haggis, Activist Director.
The Directors’ Dilemma is an interactive session focusing on one area of board ambiguity: bullying and intimidation in the workplace. Participants will have the opportunity to exercise their director skills as they deal with this complex governance problem. Acting as a special board committee of a fictitious company and presented with a set of facts in a case study, you and your fellow committee members will devise a course of action for the full board. The moderator, Guy Burry and experienced director, Jane Halford, will provide guidance and share their expertise on this complex subject.
